Wave Form #1

This is a piece I created to attempt to visualize “creative flow” which I imagined to look like an infinite undulating wave, like an enormous sheet blowing in the wind. I wanted to try to capture both the solid and transient quality of this idea. So I created this little “slice” of that wave. It is built primarily of construction pine and wood screws.

This piece was granted a merit award for use of materials in the 2010 Sundance Mountain Sculpture Exhibition in Parker, CO.
