A Confrontation Between Love and Fear

This sculpture is representative of the strong foundation of love that close friends share and the damage it suffers when fear is allowed to disrupt the relationship. It started out as a 5×10 foot sheet of steel which was plasma cut by hand into strips and woven into a square. A rusty sheet of the same grade of steel was found and cut into jagged strips by with hand shears which “pierced” the foundation and tore through the woven steel.
